Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, employers must monitor the health of workers exposed to noise, dust, fumes and other hazards. Prequal schemes and main contractors ask for proof. Without it you lose site access, tenders and time. We run the tests at your workplace and hand you the documentation.

If your workers are exposed to hazards like noise, dust, silica, welding fumes, isocyanates or vibration, the Health and Safety at Work Act expects you to monitor their health, not just hand out PPE. In practice that means a baseline on induction and repeat testing at set intervals. Prequal schemes such as SiteWise and Tōtika, and many main contractors, ask for the records. We can help you work out what applies to your site, but the employer remains responsible for meeting its legal duties.
No. Exposure monitoring (an occupational hygienist testing the air, noise levels or dust) tells you what your workers are exposed to. Health monitoring tests the worker to show whether your controls and PPE are actually protecting them. Together they close the loop. We do the health side.
They can. It costs you half a shift per worker: drive there, wait, drive back. On-site, each worker is off the floor for about 25 minutes and we test the whole team in rotation.
Hearing and lung function monitoring starts from $85 per worker. For teams of 18 or more we quote a full-day session rate, so you book the day, not the head, and no-shows don't cost you. Under 5 workers a call-out fee applies. Every quote is fixed and sent within one business day.
Yes, from 5 workers we price per head. Under 5 a call-out fee applies to cover the visit. If you're outside Auckland or Waikato with a small team, tell us anyway: we can sometimes group you with a nearby booking.
Yes, for multi-site or larger programmes we work nationwide. Travel is quoted upfront so there are no surprises. Taupō and Rotorua are covered as standard.
They are referred to the appropriate medical professional for further assessment and you get a fitness-for-work summary. Individual results stay confidential to the worker. Early referral is the point: it catches a problem before it becomes an injury, a claim or a WorkSafe notice.
Individual results are confidential and go to the worker. The employer receives a summary of fitness and any recommended actions, not the medical detail. We explain this to every worker on the day, which is usually enough.
